Last week, I had one of the best moments of my life. One of my good friends was able to get us tickets to see the USO's Sesame Street Live and yesterday was the show! We left Lainie with a sitter and had a Mommy/Ruthie day. The show was right during naptime so I wasn't totally sure how it would go, combined with the thought that life-size Elmo could totally freak her out.
Ruthie and Emory were super cute in their Elmo gear (that Em's sweet Mom got them both)
and kept randomly hugging (so sweet!!)
We got there an hour before the show started to get in line for seats and its a good thing we did! The girls did fantastic in line and had so much fun running around and playing.
Ruthie kept doing this when we talked about Elmo, it was so cute!
Thankfully, from the first second Elmo stepped onto the stage, it was over. She LOVED it. I could've cried, she was so incredibly happy. She was clapping, dancing, pointing, and just beside herself excited. It was definitely one of the best moments of my life (and probably her's thusfar).
The show was super cute, it was only 30 minutes which was good, and a different show than I believe is touring right now. It was a military themed show about moving and dealing with it. It was really really cute. She definitely had the best time and was so so so so happy! I can't wait to take her with Joel so he can see the cuteness. What a fun day and great memory.
Love my Elmo-loving girl!
