My poor baby has her first black eye! Last weekend on Saturday we were all playing in her room and Ruthie may have been the happiest she has ever been. She was dancing gleefully with Kanga and tripped and went headfirst into the ottoman. As soon as I picked her up, her poor eye was turning blue and starting to bleed and swell. 
Thankfully it wasn't a split open cut, more of an abrasion. By the time we got downstairs to get some ice, she was over it and wanting to eat the ice. She is a tough cookie!
